On November 26, 2018, the New Jersey Institute for Social Justice, along with several other leading advocates and Civil Rights groups opposed a redistricting plan that would result in racial discrimination. The coalition of groups emphasized the importance of protecting democracy by maintaining fair processes and putting people first.
