The Institute, on behalf of the Independent Monitor of the Newark Department of Public Safety’s Police Division, invites Newark residents to attend one of the community events listed below to complete the survey on policing and public safety. The Consent Decree requires the Independent Monitor to conduct an annual survey to assess Newark community members’ experiences with and perceptions of the Newark Police Division and public safety.

Surveys will be available in Spanish, Portuguese, and English. Refreshments will be provided.
