What if I believe I am registered to vote and am told at my polling location that my name is not on the voter rolls?

Confirm that you are at the correct polling place and ask the poll worker to double-check the voter list. If the poll worker still cannot find your name and you are sure you are registered and in the correct polling place, you are still entitled to cast a provisional ballot. The county board of elections will verify your registration. If you are registered, your ballot will count.
