Prisoner Reentry - Newark Reentry Legal Services (ReLeSe) Network

The Institute is a proud member of ReLeSe’s task force committee and played an integral role in launching ReLeSe. After recognizing the dire need for reentry legal assistance, the Institute helped manage two programs to serve the reentry population’s needs: the Second Chance Campaign and ReLeSe.

The ReLeSe program focuses on several main areas including:

Referrals
ReLeSe does NOT accept self-referrals. If you are in need of assistance, call (973) 645-0022 or email relese@vljnj.org to be referred to a partner organization which will screen you for eligibility.

Attorneys
If you are an attorney and wish to provide pro bono legal representation for one of our indigent clients, ReLeSe can provide you with a monthly pro bono opportunities newsletter, training materials, and mentoring attorney assistance. Please Sign Up here.

For more information, please visit ReLeSe website at: www.volunteerlawyersnj.org
