APPROACH

Attack

We attack the root causes of disparities by applying our research and analysis to implement cost-effective advocacy and demonstration programs.

We apply our research and analysis to design and implement advocacy and demonstration programs that build opportunity for urban residents. Guided by the lessons we learn from our outreach to directly affected individuals, our advocacy work leverages broad-based coalitions to reform state and municipal policy and practice to expand pathways to decent work and sustainable community development. Running on a parallel track - and equally informed by the diverse input we collect and analyze - our direct service programs provide a mix of training and counseling that equip our clients to succeed in the workplace and community. We strategically apply the 'on the ground' knowledge we gain from our direct service work to shape and strengthen our advocacy efforts.
