Ashley Mitchell
Puttkammer Fellow

Ashley Mitchell is the third Charles W. Puttkammer (Princeton class of 1958) Prisoner Reentry Fellow for NJISJ through 2013. Ashley ’s fellowship is funded by the generous donation of Mr. Puttkammer, who like Ashley , received his undergraduate degree at Princeton.

As a Puttkammer Fellow, Ashley will investigate how geographic concentrations of ex-offenders impact labor markets and the economic development of cities. She will advocate fairer employment policies and greater enforcement of employment laws designed to assist formerly incarcerated individuals.

Ashley graduated in 2011 with a B.A. in Politics from Princeton University.
